1st International AMLB Conference

The Lebanese-Brazilian Medical Association (AMLB) held the first edition of the International AMLB Conference in Beirut, bringing together renowned specialists from Brazil and Lebanon to discuss advances, challenges, and perspectives in contemporary medicine.

The meeting featured eight thematic modules and four special conferences, covering areas such as:

• Oncology: new diagnostic and treatment tools.

• Diabetes and Obesity: control strategies and applied technology.

• Pediatrics and Dermatology: Child health in vulnerable populations and advances in photoprotection.

• Gynecology and Obstetrics: updates on ectopic pregnancy, PCOS, and HPV.

• Cardiology: heart attack, aortic dissection, and transplants.

• Plastic Surgery: Innovations in Brazil and Lebanon.

• Academic collaboration: perspectives on medical education between Brazil and Lebanon.

In addition to the scientific sessions, there were social and cultural workshops, including partnerships with Rotary and the Lebanese Food Bank, reinforcing AMLB's commitment to health, solidarity, and community integration.

The event marked a historic milestone in medical and scientific cooperation between Brazil and Lebanon, strengthening ties and paving the way for future collaborations.
